2010 Sales Internships (Full-Time) - Harrisburg Senators (Harrisburg, PA) (Harrisburg, PA)
The Harrisburg Senators Baseball Club, AA affiliate of the Washington Nationals, is seeking four (4) energetic and responsible individuals for the position of Full Time Intern for the 2010 Season. This is a paid seasonal position with a start date of January 4, 2010 and a TBD end date of sometime in September, 2010.
Compensation:
$1,000.00 per month
Requirements:
Completing or have completed a four –year college degree in Sport Management, Marketing, Business or other related field. Ability to work within the dates listed above. Ability to maintain flexible hours, including but not limited to, normal business hours, nights and weekends. Must provide own transportation.
Responsibilities:
1. Generate and facilitate sales of: season tickets, mini-plans, group outings and picnics
2. Solicitation and maintenance of accounts mainly focusing on outgoing phone calls, but also including, face to face interaction, mailings, customer service and incoming telephone sales
3. Work closely with Community Relations and Marketing Departments to enhance sales opportunities
4. Generate marketing ideas to help increase ticket sales
5. Assist with on-field activities
6. Work all Harrisburg Senators home games
7. Perform other duties assigned by the Ticket Sales Manager
Qualifications:
1. Previous customer service experience
2. Self motivated and hard working
3. Strong computer skills
4. Ability to work and communicate well with others
5. Ability to multi-task and follow instructions from multiple supervisors
