The Akron Aeros Cocessions/Sales Management Trainee Program is dedicated to preparing young baseball executives for a career in professional sports. This program will focus on&amp;nbsp;group&amp;nbsp;sales&amp;nbsp;and food service management and will prepare&amp;nbsp;its members for a future in the industry.&amp;nbsp; Trainees&amp;rsquo; main focus will be on group sales for the first three months of the program. An exact number of cold calls will need to be made each day to satisfy the requirements of the program. Trainees will be responsible for maximizing attendance and revenue for Akron Aeros home games by selling various ticket packages.

This is a fulltime, seasonal position that runs from January 6, 2010 through September 2010.
Starting at the end of March, members will shift duties to the Aeros&amp;rsquo; Food Service operation, Aerofare. While working for Aerofare, members will learn all facets of the Food Service industry. Members will be exposed and responsible for inventory control, employee scheduling, placing and receiving orders, and managing game day staff.&amp;nbsp;This program does not entitle the members to any health benefits or relocation financial assistance.
